Courtney Williams is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Co-founder and CCO of Reins & Roots Behavioral Therapy. She began her journey in the field of ABA in 2018, where she quickly discovered a passion for working with children and supporting meaningful, lasting change in their lives. After starting as a Registered Behavior Technician, she knew early on that this was the path she wanted to pursue long-term.
Courtney has been a BCBA for the past four years and has built her career around providing ethical, individualized, and client-centered care. She believes that therapy should never be one-size-fits-all and is deeply committed to creating treatment plans that are thoughtful, functional, and tailored to each child and family she serves.
Throughout her career, Courtney has worked across a variety of settings, including clinics, in-home services, schools, community-based environments, and group homes. These experiences have shaped her ability to meet children where they are and understand how to support meaningful progress across different environments.
She has also held leadership roles overseeing clinical teams and supporting the development of other providers, which has further strengthened her focus on clinical quality, collaboration, and sustainable care.
Courtney is especially passionate about play-based, naturalistic teaching and creating environments where children feel comfortable, engaged, and supported. Her long-term vision for Reins & Roots includes incorporating equine-assisted therapy to support connection, confidence, and growth in a more natural and meaningful way.
Outside of her work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and their animals. She grew up in Colorado and has always had a strong love for the outdoors and working with horses, which continues to be a meaningful part of her life today.
